Esta es la famosa "Catedral de Guadalajara", una construcción que dice mucho sobre el pasado de una ciudad que recibio muchas visitas antes de poder establecer un criterio de diseño en cuanto a sus construcciones.
Su construcción fue de 1560 a 1610, aunque lamentablemente un terremoto acabo con las torres y lacúula en 1818 y nuevamente en 1849, y se reconstruyeron en 1854 gracias al diseño del Arq. Manuel Gómez Ibarra.
Un detalle que retumba en los oidos de todos sus visitantes es el hecho de que contiene varios estilos arquitectonicos como el gótico, neo-clasico, plateresco y barroco en su interior.
Aunque eso no lo es todo; en su interior alberga vitrales franceses, el órgano más grande de México, bancas finamente talladas, terminaciones en plata, el corazón de un presidente y un sin fin de reliquias relacionadas con la entrada del catolicismo a esta ciudad.
Y la luz se deja entrar por cada rincón, dando vida a todos los fieles que la visitan, iluminando a las almas, a la par que ilumina siglos y siglos de belleza y conservación... es ahí cuando puedes llegar a descubrir que aunque todos vayamos por caminos diferentes y nuestra fe se concentre en diferentes aspectos; la fe católica es algo que vivira por siempre arraigada en el Centro de Guadalajara.

This is the famous "Guadalajara Cathedral", a construction that say a lot about a city that received many visitors before they stablished a design criteria for their architecture.
Its construction take place from 1560 to 1610, although an earthquake destroy the towers and the dome in 1818 and in 1849, so they get reconstructed in 1854 with the design of Arq. Manuel Gómez Ibarra.
A curious detail that sounds in every visitor it the fact that this building has many architectonic styles like the gothic, neo-clasic, plateresque and baroque on its interior.
Although, that is not at all; on its interior this place has french stained- glass windows, the bigest mexican organ, refined carved benches, silver decoration, the heart of an expresident and a lot of relics related to the entrance of the catolicism to this city.
And the light goes in through every corner, giving life to all the loyal people that visit this place, lighting the souls, as it make shine all the ages of beauty and preservation... right there you can figure out that even though our pads ate different and our faith is focused in many things; the catholic faith is something that will always live in the heart of Guadalajara.

I must say, this travel was a big photographic adventure for me!
La verdad estas fotos de moche me pusieron bien nerviosa por que las saque con mi camara analoga y no sabia si saldrían bien...
